Set about 200 years before Heartless. This was about Bhaliq Empire's transfer of power to Krenn Empire and their many Guardian Generals.
This will be a six-book project in the same universe. I'm not universe-building. I'm simply too lazy to come up with brand new empire names, location names, all kinds of other names. Basically I'm using Krenn Empire as a stand-in for China's Tang Dynasty but lasted a lot longer, like Rome. I could pick and choose different centuries to write a story.
They will probably be five full-length novels and one short story. I have not decided yet. All of the characters appeared again and again in all six stories.
Count Covasna from 'Til Death Do Us Part appeared again in one of the stories as an all-powerful being!
